Habits of Highly Successful People | The Secrets Successful People Know That We Don’t.

Unfortunately, for 99% of us, success doesn’t happen overnight. Fortunately, though, there are small things each of us can make a point of doing every single day that will get us closer and closer to the success we desire in life.

1.   Wake Up Early

The first and probably most important thing successful people do is wake up early in the morning. It’s important to consistently get up early, and use the morning productively.

“Successful people wake up early”

Studies show that early risers are not only more productive than night owls, but also happier and healthier. So set that alarm clock, get up with or before the sun, and have a great productive morning with day schedule.

2.   Set Goals

The best time to get started with this is now. There are many ways you can set goals for the future, but a commonly recommended one is to write them down. There is much more to this than having an ambiguous plan to be successful sometime in the future.

“Successful people know their goal and give 100% to achieve this”

What is your Goal?

exactly are you going to do?

When are you going to do it?

How will doing that help you take that next step to your goals?

Let’s Breaking down your goals into smaller, more manageable pieces, that will help keep you motivated and be able to visualize each step towards success.

3.   Strive for Balance

Picture someone successful person in your mind. What do you imagine their day to day life is like? Being willing to work hard is vital for success, but the most successful people know that you can’t work all the time – and you shouldn’t.

“Successful people strive for balance”

Yes, they work hard, but they use their time in a smart and productive way. They know what is important to them outside of work, and they devote attention to those things regularly as well.

4.   keep Your Body as well as Mind healthy

“Successful people work for mental as well as physical health”

many successful people flaunt the benefits of cultivating your body as well as your mind. Exercise for body as well as mind has many benefits. It can be a way for you to relax, a hobby, a way to meet new people, etc.

5.   Surround yourself with positive people.

"Social media has become a cesspool for the haters and trolls. Don't let negative people hold you back. Understand that negativity generally comes from unhappy people and those who envy you. Happy successful people don't tear others down. Surround yourself with ambitious, positive people. It's too easy to focus on the negative and there's just no upside to that."

6.   Stay Optimistic Always

The mind is a powerful thing, and if you’re not careful, you can interrupt yourself before you even begin. Persistence, optimism, and staying positive are all extremely important for success.

“Successful people stay Optimistic in every situation”

Successful people know (or have learned) how to push through that feeling when it feels like things aren’t going your way, you aren’t reaching your goals, or your whole life feels like it’s conspiring against you. It can be possible to stay optimistic and keep moving forward.

7.   Write Everything Down

Have you ever had a great idea, but you’re in bed, about to go to sleep, and you promise to think about it in the morning? Or maybe you’re on the go and a fleeting thought seems promising?

Those thoughts and ideas always seem to slip past us, and we can never remember them when we actually have time to sit down and devote attention to them. Successful people have gotten around this by always writing everything down.

8.   Listen and learn.

“Successful people Speak less and listen more”

Listen to your peers, Friends and Teachers.  You will always learn something from listening.  I also find that it could facilitate relationships just by listening, and really let people feel that you care.  It helps ease any tensions, even if it doesn't immediately solve a problem, it could relieve any negative feelings just by letting people express themselves whether it be an unhappy customer, a stressed employee or colleague.

12 Must Habits Which Will Help You Crack SSC–JE Examination in First Attempt

How to become Junior Engineer in first attempt?

Most of the Engineering aspirants have a doubt “How to crack SSC or STATE -JE in first attempt? ”.  It is a myth that no one crack the

Exam in the first attempt by studying 6 months. Here we are breaking that myth and giving 10 Must Habits Which Will Help You Crack Junior Engineer Exam in First Attempt.

1. Objectify the SSC-JE Syllabus.

Most of the aspirants feel that SSC-JE Syllabus is very massive. No doubt, the syllabus is huge but remind yourself that it is something that you have already studied before! You need to Just brush up your Concept and past knowledge to give your Junior Engineer vision a start. Start by simply jotting down the entire syllabus into points and divide them into sections according to your strengths and weaknesses, and then proceed with designing a study plan.

2. Stop looking at the Junior Engineer curriculum as a whole – Divide it to Conquer

Let’s take a quick look at the definition of Divide and Conquer: It basically means that you divide the subjects into manageable parts and that makes it possible for yourself by dividing them and conquering them.

The common entrance test of the SSC Junior Engineer Exam consists of two papers. Paper-I is an objective type based paper which is taken on an Online Mode while Paper-II is subjective.

Paper-I have the following sections –

  • General Intelligence and Reasoning
  • General Awareness
  • Civil Engineering
  • Electrical Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering

Paper-II has three parts from General Engineering section which are:

    • Part A: Civil & Structural
    • Part B: Electrical
    • Part C: Mechanical

3. Make a Timetable and follow it judiciously

Draw out a timetable for yourself, and the time table should be a realistic one. Do not make a timetable which needs more than 4 - 5 hours of your day to dedicate to your preparations. Once you have decided on the amount of time you will put in everyday and what topics you will cover when, make sure you follow it every day.

4. Indulge in Quality Discussions

Keep a habit of discussing all important developments that are important according to SSC Exam point of view. All former Toppers who have cleared the exam in their first attempt itself give this tip. Good discussions will give you an edge over others – not just in Prelims, but in Mains as well.

5. Go Through Previous Year Papers:

Go through the Previous Year Question Papers and check the weightage of different topics, type of questions asked and their difficulty level. Master the topics having higher weightage. Take at least past 5-10 years of question papers and solve them.

6. Solve Mock Papers Regularly

Make sure you solve enough number of Mock Papers for both Prelims and Mains; this is a must before you step into the Real exam for your first attempt. Regular evaluations will help you keep a track of your progress. You get to know your weaknesses and can work accordingly. This helps you keep yourself motivated.

7. Develop Answer Writing Skills

In an exam like the SSC-JE mains, studying the syllabus is not the only important thing to do, how you write and how much score you attempt in exam is what counts the most. No matter how much you study prior to the exam, how skilfully you are writing the answers within two hours is what makes one topper and another failure. Hence having regular practice of answer writing is highly necessary.

8. The Two Time Revision Rule

When you plan your studies, make sure you have enough time on your agenda for a minimum of two revisions. Both Technical studies, as well as Non-Tech syllabus, should be reviewed twice – a week before the examination. Without revision, you cannot succeed in this exam. All the formulas should be at your fingertips. Practice them regularly so that you do not forget them.

9. Do Not Ever Skip Basic Concepts

If there’s a bible that can guide you towards success, it’s the Making Basic Concepts that acts as an integral whole in your entire preparation process. Many questions that are asked in the examinations come directly from the Basic part of the subject.

10. Start Framing your own Questions

Develop a habit of asking yourself questions and anticipating the questions that can be asked in the examinations. Keep a separate notebook for your Short Notes section and continuously update it with recent developments in Technical as well as Non-Technical fields of your trade. This notebook will be your guide for revision which is now the most important part for your preparation.

11. Plan and Execute

Planning is always the first step towards success and to execute it the next step. It may be possible that one may not stick to the plan earlier envisaged. But one needs to develop the habit of reviewing the plan and, if needed, go for mid-course correction. Without a proper plan, you cannot accomplish your goal.

12. Maintain a Healthy Diet and Regular Sleep

Maintaining good health during the course is an important prerequisite to excel in these exams. Late night studies can hamper one’s circadian rhythm. But late night studies are also inevitable. Therefore, following a healthy, regular diet must count amongst the top most priorities for a CSE aspirant. If it is your first attempt, don’t let the nervousness bring you down.
